Clashes have broken out between protestors and gardaí after a number of people involved in a demonstration in Dublin invaded a Department of Finance office on Baggot Street this afternoon.At least one man has received a head injury during the scuffles.
Up to 25,000 people are demonstrating against the proposed doubling of college registration fees to €3,000.
Eggs and other missiles were pelted at gardaí on horseback and members of the riot squad are trying to disperse protestors.
Members of various left-wing organisations are thought to be behind the altercations.
