A major showcase event for Clare tourism will be held in the CHQ Building at Dublin's IFSC next week to capitalise on recent successes for the local sector, including the naming of Loop Head as Ireland's Best Place to Holiday, the Brian Ború millennial celebrations and the launch of the Wild Atlantic Way.
“Be Captured by Clare” takes place on Thursday 8th May and is being organised by the Shannon Region Conference and Sports Bureau in partnership with Fáilte Ireland, Shannon Airport and Clare County Council.
Clare attractions, activity providers and members of the local hospitality sector will showcase at the event which is being attended by tour operators, professional conference organisers, sporting federations, destination management companies and national associations and institutes, as well as Dublin-based corporate companies. MC for the evening will be RTE presenter and Clare native Marty Morrissey.
Speaking ahead of the event, Tony Brazil, Chairman, Shannon Region Conference and Sports Bureau commented: "With the launch of the Wild Atlantic Way, the expansion of services at Shannon Airport and the continued strong performances by flagship attractions such as the Burren, Cliffs of Moher, Bunratty Castle & Folk Park, Lough Derg and the Loop Head Peninsula, County Clare has never been so well placed to market itself as a truly top quality, international visitor destination."
